Tab2PDF (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a web service and browser extension that helps users capture and merge webpages into PDF files. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what’s necessary to operate and improve Tab2PDF:

1.1. Account Information

If you sign in with Google or another provider, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from that service. We use this to identify your account and sync your saved tasks.

1.2. Anonymous Usage Data

When you use Tab2PDF without signing in, we create a random anonymous ID. We log basic, non-identifying information such as:

Number of pages processed
Success or failure of a task

This data helps us understand feature usage and reliability.

1.3. Job Data

When you create a PDF, URLs are temporarily processed by our servers to generate your file. Generated PDFs are automatically deleted after 7 days or shortly thereafter as part of our regular cleanup cycle.

1.4. Payment Information

If you upgrade to a paid plan, payments are processed securely through our payment partner (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your payment card details.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data to:

Operate and maintain the service
Improve performance and fix bugs
Communicate about updates, features, or issues
Enforce Terms of Use and prevent abuse
Analyze aggregated usage patterns

Anonymous analytics and logs are retained up to 12 months.
Job data (URLs and generated PDFs) is retained in your account history so you can review or re-download past work.
Account data (email, plan info) remains until you delete your account or request removal.

Disable cookies through your browser (some features may stop working)

6. Children’s Privacy

Tab2PDF is not intended for individuals under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Data Security

We use secure connections (HTTPS) and industry-standard encryption for all data transmissions and storage. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
